The Pine Square Campers, formed by the "Central New Jersey Square Dance Association (CNJSDA)", had their first campout in the spring of 1980. These were square dancers belonging to CNJSDA member clubs, who also enjoyed camping and wanted to combine the two interests.
The Pine Squares have evolved over the years and welcome both dancers and non-dancers and their families to their four campouts per year. Fellowship, food, fun and dancing have been the watchwords of the club for over twenty-five years.
